Summary
VASCO Data Security is looking for a dynamic 'Area Distribution Manager' to enforce its 'Indirect Channel Sales' department.
The mission of the 'Area Distribution Manager' is to manage and assist VASCO distributors in their business with VASCO. Make sure that the distributors think and act as VASCO. Focus on product bundling and recurring revenue by executing appropriate sales enablement programs.
Profile
You have a Bachelor or Master degree with 5+ years of experience in distributor management and indirect approach for ICT products.
You have a general knowledge of IT standards, architectures and concepts, you understand general security principals, standards and concepts.
You are able to use CRM tools and office packages.
You are familiar with the SPANCO sales methodology.
You have excellent communication skills and a positive, customer centric attitude.
You are an assertive and independent professional, able to negotiate successfully with professional buyers.
You are a good team player.
Fluent in English and Dutch. Knowledge of German, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Scandinavian and others languages is an asset.
Flexibility to travel, sometimes on short notice.
Responsibilities
Responsible for training, motivating, supporting and guiding the distributors in an assigned territory.
Make sure that pricing, products and procedures are very well understood at the distributor side.
Execute, monitor and adjust sales enablement programs.
Quarterly evaluation of sales figures and performance using sales analysis figures.
Handle and manage VPA (volume purchase pricing) and MBO (management by objectives).
Organise regular Business Review meetings with distributors to ensure focus and budget achievements.
Search and evaluate potential new distributors in an assigned territory if needed.
