Summary
To meet the Company's and the Product's expansion, R&D is looking for a Product Architect to enforce its team in Mechelen. The development team is responsible to design and implement high performance WEB 2.0 Applications, used on a global scale.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks:
Within the DIGIPASS as a Service team, your job will mainly consist of following tasks:
- Study the API of online applications like Facebook, Twitter, E-Bay, etc. and perform research on potential ways to integrate.
- Study and understand online Authentication and Authorization protocols like SAML, OpenID, Oauth, ...
- Develop some "Proof of Concept" code, preferably in Ruby, to prototype the integration.
- Support the DPS development team with the effective integration and look after answers to questions.<
- Validate integrations, assist the QA team in writing automated integration tests for our Continuous integration platform.
- Write the outline of an integration text for our technical writers, so they can turn the content into some nice how-to’s and white papers.
- Write technical integration specifications. Produce quality, fully justified, implementable, and consistent product specification deliverables, including functional specifications, architecture documents, use case models, user interaction models, workflows and related artifacts.
- Provide architectural support to product development team. Participate in architecture and design and test scenario reviews.
- Perform technical analysis activities. Serve as technical consultant during software implementation.
- Contribute to the development of software prototypes or products as required to meet important corporate goals.
Profile
- You are an experienced and devoted developer, passionate about Internet and the used technologies.
- You have senior programming experience (Java or Ruby On Rails is an asset), but you are looking towards the next step in your career.
- You have experience with developing Applications that are linked to or work in close relation with other on-line applications like Google Apps, Facebook, Twitter,...
- You like to dig and search the Net for hidden APIs to make your Application even integrate better than any other one.
- You have knowledge of security pitfalls in on-line applications.
